Their daily routine is filled with small worries and big dreams. Wanting more than he can accomplish, her son goes to jail and Luca meets a prison educator. Much-anticipated bond appears in sight.

A monodrama consisting of the content of the letter from the short story "A Letter from 1920" by Ivo Andrić. The story was published way back in 1946, and through the pen of his main character Max Levenfeld, a doctor who is fleeing Bosnia for good, Andrić writes about the hatred that has haunted this country and its people for centuries.

In the TV drama-essay, M. Pervić took Andrić's texts as a basis, and interpolated excerpts from other Andrić's works into their imagined meeting. Their meeting is permeated with reflections on art, the artist's relationship to life, and the wisdom that a writer and painter gain by doing their thankless, but only possible job for decades.
