Pray for me: Pope Francis’ story is a documentary that follows the life journey of Pope Francis, with a particular focus on his social and humanitarian work. The film portrays a man deeply devoted to the causes of the poor, the marginalised, and the forgotten: from his early years in Argentina to his role as a spiritual leader on the global stage. Blending archival footage, personal testimonies, and a thoughtful, ethical perspective, the documentary offers an intimate and timely portrait of one of the most influential figures of our time.

SOLDADO is the product of the collective work of more than a dozen filmmakers and activists who came together out of affection and intrigue for the figure of Guillermo Moreno. Many of us even met each other during the course of this project, but we all agree that we will be comrades forever. It was the year 2014 when we first outlined some of the ideas for the peronist documentary we wanted to make, which changed its shape with each new day of filming and every hour spent in the editing room, but from the very beginning we knew it would be called SOLDADO.

Conceived in lockdown, and totally crowdsourced, the film is made from voice notes sent in from a variety of the most trusted humans on the planet, and the pictures are made from thousands of donated images sent in from citizens on every continent.

In the maximum security prison of Opera, three inmates responsible for murders, Ciro, Giuseppe and Cristiano, were chosen to handcraft, with their hands once stained with blood, hosts which are consecrated in churches all over the world, thus becoming the body of Christ. Their dream is to deliver them personally into the blessed hands of the Holy Father Pope Francis, to whom they write a letter. A true story unprecedented in the world.
