Led by Captain Anastacio Montañez, the newly formed army fight and honor their code at the same time as they loot houses to spread the wealth.

Fisherman Quino and his wife Juana are very poor and desperate because the town's foreign doctor refuses to treat their son Coyotito, who has been bitten by a scorpion. When Quino unexpectedly finds a magnificent pearl in the sea, Juana senses that the discovery will only bring them misfortune and tries to convince her husband to return it to the sea.

A gang of thieves has jeopardized the city and even the police, whose chief urges their forces to captured the band within 48 hours. Since then, Cantinflas become a member of the police force for special missions.

The rich man then remembers that his father in law's testament could only be paid when all brothers get together, so treats Cantinflas, a real bum, as a king.

Beautiful peasant girl runs afoul of her landlord's horny son and he poisons the well between her and her fiance, so she runs away and joins the Revolution.

In the midst of the Mexican Revolution, the landowner Mendoza manages to get along with both the government and the revolutionary group. For the former, he is a supporter of Huerta. For the latter, he is a Zapata supporter. Depending on the political preference of whoever visits him at his hacienda, he has portraits of Huerta or Zapata put up, and organizes a party in honor of his visitors. However, time goes by and the situation becomes untenable. For whom will he take sides?

Two journalists, Carlos and Lola, investigate the murder of a young woman whose body appeared with her heart torn out, in what seems to be a human sacrifice. The investigation leads the reporters to a museum, whose director is the famous Doctor Gallardo.

Based on the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Monte Cristo tells the story of a man who is unjustly imprisoned alongside an old man, who before dying reveals the location of a buried treasure. When the man manages to escape from his miserable cell, he changes his identity, becoming the wealthy Count of Monte Cristo, an identity he uses to take revenge on those who betrayed him and sent him to prison.

In times of the French Intervention, a student of Nunó, author of the Mexican National Anthem, falls in love with the niece of the French Ambassador, which causes quite amusing complications.

Nostalgic comedy about medical students circa 1905.

Carita finds herself forced to reject the advances of her wealthy godfather because she already has a steady boyfriend. Spurned, the godfather changes his will, stipulating that the five million pesos he leaves to his goddaughter can only be claimed once she becomes a widow. Hoping to inherit the fortune quickly, Carita marries Lázaro Bermejo, a dying indigent. However, the beggar makes a miraculous recovery and regains his health.
