Four tourists travel to to the Swedish island of Gotland in the month of September hoping for the time of their lives. They soon discover however that in the time of year of their choosing for the vacation, is a time of year where Swedes are anywhere but on the island. The four tourists soon discover that the few inhabitants of the island are carrying a secret; a secret that is about to make the four wish they had never come to Sweden.

During one frenetic hour, comedians Petrina Solange Karlsson, Anders "Ankan" Johansson, Johanna Hurtig Wagrell, and Özz Nujen—led by Kristoffer Ahonen Appelquist—take aim at our eight party leaders. Anything goes. No jokes are off-limits. No embarrassment is too sacred. Scandals are scrutinized, shortcomings are mocked, and not even the Prime Minister escapes unscathed.

Parlamentet is a satirical panel gameshow on on TV4, which parodies Swedish political debate. It was first broadcast in 1999 and is currently in its 23rd series. The current presenter is Anders S. Nilsson, who has hosted the show since 2004. Current team members include Babben Larsson, Robin Paulsson, Johan Rheborg and Johan Glans. Kodjo Akolor has also been featured. The program is a Swedish version of the short-run British show If I Ruled the World, which itself was as spin-off from Have I Got News For You - both produced by Hat Trick Productions. The comedians are divided into two teams, red and blue, representing traditional political colours. At the end of the show, the audience vote for the winners based on which team was funniest.
