Jakub (Matej Merunka), a co-owner of the travel agency Dolce Travel, is departing from Prague for the weekend in his hometown of Telc to celebrate the birthday of his mother. Meets Ilona (Agáta Krystufková), a longtime childhood friend whom he had not seen for several years, and he embarks on a spontaneous and intense trip to the Czech border. Their initially carefree journey during which they planned to flee to Italy to pick apricots, over time becomes more frustrating. A film about the current generation of young people, their loss of orientation, lack of important values, goals, fantasies and their own opinion.

Sons of two different natures come to live alone with their stroke-paralyzed father and their seriously ill mother. Libor, a religious teacher, with his wife Jana, and Jirka, an atheistic, indecisive and melancholic photographer, with his young son Dominik and his young lover Nikol. Both brothers have to cope with partner problems in addition to their parents' illnesses. Libor and Jana's relationship is marked by futile attempts to conceive. The divorced Jirka, who is thinking of going abroad, does not know how to treat Nikol, who is also ignored by the family. After three days, the father dies, which brings some reconciliation, but the problems of their relationship remain open.

Vašek learns that he is dying, so he steals a painting and goes to Rome to sell it – he needs money for a healer. Sitting on a train with a fake mustache on his face, he has no idea that he has, in fact, been sent on a spiritual quest of his life by a beautiful girl. His pursuers look as if they were transported from a 1970’s movie, yet his attention is constantly drawn to the other passengers, who pull him into their own stories with no mercy. Vašek slowly gets lost in a colorful chaos of other people’s destinies, opinions and his own dreams. In the end, his train will take some of them to hell, others to enlightenment or a bizarre epiphany. The film takes a humorous view on all the basic philosophical questions we have heard so many times but that we have yet to find the answers to.
