In this rambunctious comedy, desperately job-needy Billie becomes "Bridget" to answer a "female wanted" ad for a housekeeper. Unfortunately, s/he is all thumbs, wreaking household havoc in no time.

When Grace Raymond follows Neil Garth, her hard-drinking fiancé, West, she finds him living in a squalid desert cabin. Forced to choose between being raped by outlaws or giving in to Neil's sexual demands, Grace moves in with her fiancé. A year later, Grace rescues James Stapleton, a gold miner, from a desert death and helps him to escape from Neil's greedy clutches. Before Neil can punish her, she knocks him out and flees to New York, where she meets and then marries Oliver West, a jeweler with failing vision. To help with his medical bills, Grace sells a short story, but Neil shows up and threatens to expose her past unless she gives him her earnings. Eventually, Oliver finds out about Grace and Neil and goes blind from the shock. Determined to win Oliver back, Grace enlists the help of Stapleton, now a rich broker, to thwart Neil and secure a sight-restoring operation for Oliver. When Oliver hears Neil's confession of Grace's difficult past, he finally forgives her.

Christabel Nuneham (Gladys Hanson) feels neglected by her husband, Phil (Ferdinand Tidmarsh), so she has an affair with Rex Allen (Jack Standing). When Allen has to go to India, Christabel follows him to Southampton to see him off. She is injured in a car accident and is rescued by an evangelist (George Soule Spencer) whose specialty is saving sinners.

John Carter is a good fellow. In fact, his good fellowship is Carter's one great fault, for the highballs and cocktails which go with it too frequently make him forget his more serious obligations and are cause for anxiety on the part of his charming fiancée Marybelle. Marybelle's little brother, Billie asks Carter what is making Marybelle so sad. Carter replies evasively, "It's a Ringtailed Rhinoceros." Billie vows to kill the rhino. When Carter fails to appear on time at a dinner which was planned to announce his engagement to Marybelle, and finally arrives intoxicated, her parents in anger force her to break the engagement and forbid Carter the house. Marybelle's rejection of Carter hits him hard.

A social comedy in which the young Dick Evans is seen as a failure, and then tries to prove himself to his father and father-in-law as an editor.

West Indian born Corinne La Force, who is biracial, is raised by Henry Hasbrook after her father's death. Corinne loves Hasbrook's nephew, Arnold Curtis. When Hasbrook tries to prevent the match because of her heritage she murders him. Arnold is arrested though Marcia Fleming, a married woman who is Arnold’s mistress and her mother-in-law fall under suspicion. Defending Arnold John Fleming discovers the affair and renounces his wife. Arnold is about to confess in hopes of saving Marcia's reputation when Corinne admits her guilt and stabs herself.

A naive young woman's strong anti-war sentiments get her into trouble in this silent cautionary tale. She is such a devout pacifist that she spurns her lover when she learns that he has invented an aerial torpedo. Instead, she gets involved with a foreigner who swears that he totally shares her beliefs. Unfortunately, he is a foreign spy in disguise. At his urging, the innocent girl steals her ex-beau's plans and delivers them to the spy. When she learns that he is the enemy, she fights him and with a sword kills him. It is still not enough to stop the enemy from attacking an American port city.
