This event marked a historic shift, as it was the very first Triplemanía staged under the ownership and creative influence of WWE, following their acquisition of AAA on August 1, 2025.

The event took place on September 15, 2019, at Madison Square Garden's Hulu Theater in New York City, New York. The event aired live on traditional PPV outlets and FITE TV in the US.

It was the thirteenth annual AAA show held in honor of deceased founder Antonio Peña, and featured the Copa Antonio Peña tournament named in his honor.
