"The Penthouse" is a psychological thriller that follows Saina and David, a young family who moves into a luxurious penthouse in Kuala Lumpur to start a new life.

Three years into a zombie epidemic, a group of survivors prepare to leave their wooded shelter and brave the flesh eaters in order to reach the city.

In late nineteenth-century Yakutia, Habji and his wife Keremes have just buried their second child, and are preparing for a harsh winter of famine. Instead of giving them the help he promised, the local prince foists a Russian convict, Kostya, on the family, who the law decrees must live in the same house as them. They initially struggle to find a common language, and the convict soon decides that he will be the master of the house from now on.

In an old coat with a cardboard suitcase, Yulya arrives to conquer the capital. Her Aunt Valya helps her get a job as a live-in nurse for Alla Nikolaevna, a wealthy and capricious old woman who had a stroke. A little time passes, and Alla and her son Pavel grow fond of Yulya. Only Pavel's wife, Lena, does not believe in the "good angel". And she seems to be right…

The story takes place in Tundra. The local camp is preparing for a wedding, if it can be called a wedding in Nenets traditions. There are no guests, no closest or distant relatives, no feast, no songs, no smiles. The bride arrives to the groom’s camp without any attributes of a celebration. Young Alyoshka marries because his mother insists – the chum should not go vacant, the family should not die out. His heart though longs for Ilne, the daughter of old Petko. Ten years ago Ilne left the camp for the mainland. Every day Alyoshka checks the road hopelessly waiting for his love to return.
