Sergio and Sergei

In 1991, the USSR is falling apart and Cuba enters its hardest economic crisis. Sergio, a professor of Marxism who can't provide for his family, and Sergei, a Soviet cosmonaut stranded in the Mir space station, share a common passion: amateur radio. Through this hobby, both men will be able to help each other in facing the dramatic changes of their countries.

The two collide as Daniel yearns for freedom while Horacio dreams of returning to the ring.

Mamina, a mother suffering from Alzheimer's, is in the final stages of her life. The disease has destroyed her short-term memory, a significant portion of her motor skills, and all but one remaining memory: her time with her daughter, Daniela. Throughout the film, we see the real-world effects of Alzheimer's through the perspective of someone living with the disease, as well as the desperation she faces to hold on to the last thing that makes her feel safe—her memories.

Loving Cuba

While a mother only just finds out that her daughter's dating a Cuban, she realises her daughter will get married on Cuba too. To hinder the failure-designated marriage, she immediately gets on a flight to Cuba.

Coolie

To repay a family debt,Chulin arrives in Cuba as a bride to a Chinese rebel. Against the backdrop of Cuba's independence war,the suffering of coolies is shown through Chulin's experiences.Fate intervenes.Her destiny is forever changed.
