Daiki has autism spectrum disorder. He works as a janitor and lives independently with some support. His younger sister Nozomi is a counselor and has supported him since their mother passed away. When Nozomi's marriage plans come up, they are forced to face their own futures.

Set within the devastated city of Eight City, the Eight Rangers protect the city and go against the evil Dark Kuruseido.

The unexpected story unfolds when one day, the daughter of a yakuza boss asks him to plan a make-believe kidnapping. Sato Ryuta plays Shotaro's co-worker who helps him with the kidnapping. Kanjiya Shihori plays Satsuki, the eldest daughter of the Hanazono yakuza clan, while Narimiya Hiroki plays Satsuki's college senpai who joined the Hanazono clan after graduation. Takahashi Katsumi plays the head of a rival organization who has fallen in love with Satsuki. Kitaoji Kinya plays Satsuki's father and the head of the Hanazono clan.

34-year-old Michiyo Mabuchi (Kumiko Aso) and 26-year-old Yoshimi Tendo (Shota Yasuda) meet at a screenwriting class. Michiyo Mabuchi, who is called "Basyauma", works hard to become a writer, but can't see a future for herself as a screenwriter. Meanwhile, Yoshimi Tendo is a bigmouth who never tries hard at anything. These two people fall in love.

A rag tag group of cleaners unexpectedly 'adopt' a baby and search for the child's mother. Unfortunately, adopting this baby isn't as simple, especially when there's a group of hired assassins wanting to kill the child.

A dragon appears in modern day Japan, causing a great uproar in Tokyo. On the other hand, at Mitsuyama City located at the foot of Mt Fuji, Yoshio (Yasuda Shota), Kenji (Endo Kaname) and Tamotsu (Honda Chikara), members of the young people’s association, talk idly at the cafe where Yoko (Renbutsu Misako) works. Yoshio, who had gone to buy a game, obtains a mysterious, old document at a secondhand bookstore. It is written literature about dragons. They learn that: warriors of the light had previously destroyed a dragon, Mitsuyama City is the town of their descendents, and a sword and crystal are needed to vanquish a dragon. And, the descendents of the light, who are the new heroes, have coats of arms. A good look reveals that Kenji and the others have them too. The four of them wonder if it is a joke even as they search for the crystal. A variety of reasons make them decide to destroy the dragon despite their conflicts. The spirit of adventure which they had almost forgotten, blossoms, and they take action, for world peace and regional devevlopment.

Kanjani8 no Janiben is a Japanese TV show hosted by the members of the group Kanjani8. The show began airing on May 2, 2007, and is broadcast every Wednesday night on Kansai TV from 0:35 AM to 1:30 AM.

Kanjani Chronicle F is a new variety series where the members of Kanjani Eight will bypass the playfulness that they are known for and explore various things from their new secret base. They will be exploring real things in the world, things that they want to see, and do in a roughly unlimited way that they could not do before.
