Viveca is 31, divorced, and has a son of 6 years. She and her friend Aud have left the hectic everyday life and moved in with bohemians and artists. We follow these two women for five days, as they come in contact with many different people.

Ellen and Rolf met 17 years ago, and since then has spent every day and night together. Still together, life shifts between quarrels and passionate love.

The film is composed of a series of episodes about how a twenty-year-old needs to let go.

Together with colleagues Jan goes to a seminar on the Canary Islands. Already on the first day we starts an erotic relation to a stewardess, and during a swim with his boss his life changes dramatically.

In a dystopian future set in the northern part of Norway, a big corporation have stripped the sea of fish leaving locals without food and income.
