In this Bashkort village, the highlight of the week is the film screening at the local cultural center. The main character is a devoted fan of Indian cinema — but getting into a screening of his favorite film proves far more difficult than he ever expected.

Sasha is a young and daring hockey player. After he was kicked out of the team, he and his mother, a doctor, move to another city. Here he and his mother will have to not only become part of their new team, but also build a personal life and find mutual understanding.
