Erfurt is host to a large pioneer meeting. From all over the country, thousands of boys and girls travel to the Saxon city to be part of the happening. The schoolboy Tim, however, misses his train - a catastrophe for both himself and his team, since Tim is a sports ace and desperately needed in the competition. Without further ado, the boy decides to hitchhike to Erfurt. The journey turns out to be full of adventures and it ends with a triumph for Tim and his team.

The plot takes viewers to various places in Europe, including Prague, Erfurt, Frankfurt/Main and even Tenerife. And the title "The Blonde Geisha" turned out to be a nickname for the film's heroine, who had once been called that by her school friend Andreas. At the time, there was more than a hint of romance between the two, but then they lost sight of each other. Now, all of a sudden, a reunion in Prague! This would be a chance for Erika and Andraes to start afresh, but the two are not alone in the Czechoslovakian capital, as if on an island. Instead, the businesswoman from West Germany and the research engineer from East Germany find themselves in the sights of shady people who do not shy away from crime in order to achieve their goals, and so the two main protagonists find themselves in increasingly dangerous situations.

Three couples want to spend a short break together. Some have a traffic accident, the others are prevented professionally. So the designer Robert and the youth helper Ellen are forced to spend the days in a remote farmhouse alone with her young son. The previously suppressed marriage crisis breaks open. Allegations, confessions, charges, self-accusations are in the room. Painfully, they come to the realization that only their own happiness is responsible for their happiness. With the old landlord, each of them finds himself. In the end, Robert and Ellen want to try a new beginning.

There are thousands of complex narratives connected with the frontier drawn through the middle of Berlin, and each episode relates the story of a difficult decision made on that night...

Irene and Klaus Bach are happily married. But living closely together with Klaus' parents causes a few problems. Added to this is jealousy of his wife's professional success. She leaves Klaus and the child. With strong support from Täve and Atze, the family tries to bring the "little starlet" back home and reconcile the young couple.

Two doctors, a German and a Czech brain surgeon, meet in a Berlin hospital, unaware of how fatefully they are linked by events from a dark past. A trip to a congress in Prague and an encounter with the wife of his Czech colleague force the German chief surgeon to rethink his previous life. The film deals with the explosive topic of the extent and causes of complicity in the crimes of National Socialism.

Winter of 1943. Cheerful, shy beginning of a tender love between the electric fitter Paul, who works on the estate on the power poles and the girl Anna. Both encounter each other during the war on a Mecklenburg estate. The three buxom and arrogant maids Elsa I, II and III, who also work in the manor, provide wit and pleasure.

The girl Jorinde and the foundling Joringel grow up sheltered in a farmer's cottage behind the moor, but the dense forest around them harbors deep secrets. One day, a sorceress, omnipresent as an owl, juniper tree or in fairy form, takes the beautiful Jorinde away. Her mother, father and Joringel are left behind in sorrow. However, determined Joringel sets off in search of Jorinde. Although the enchantress tries to convince him that his search is in vain, he succeeds in finding his beloved in an enchanted castle. There she lives, enchanted, alongside many other beauties, unattainable for reality. But it is the special power of the love between the two that enables Joringel to recognize Jorinde, who has been transformed into a nightingale, among many other nightingales. The spell expires. But peace only returns when Joringel saves his family from marauders and defeats them in battle.
