Martin and Märta live in a seemingly happy marriage, but Märta feels neglected. One evening she meets Martine's colleague, the Frenchman Barthou, famous for his success with the Stockholm ladies. He starts to flirt with Märta.

Two pilots must fly together in spite of the strong dislike of each other. At a training mission the aircraft wrecks over open water and they have to save themselves by parachute.

Christer is a teenager who prefers to spend his time on motorcycles instead of his studies which doesn't impress his father. There is also a youth motorcycle gang terrorising the local girls but Christer doesn't dare to stand up to them, leading to his humiliation.
