One afternoon, Jesper sees a young girl fall overboard from one of the harbor's expensive motorboats. He jumps into the water and rescues her. Her name is Line. It is summer in Rungsted, and the music is blaring at full volume. Line is a young and beautiful girl who has been in a relationship with Victor from Rungsted for five years. Jesper is a healthy, unspoiled guy from Holbæk who comes to Rungsted to look after a beachfront villa. Victor, Line's boyfriend, who was 'born' with a diamond-studded 24-carat gold spoon in his mouth, passes the time with his transgressive 'games' with his friends.

Maja has made a promise to her deceased sister: she will take care of her 15-year-old nephew Mathias, who has fallen into bad company and been kidnapped. Now the kidnappers are threatening to kill Mathias, and the problem is that Maja is sitting in a car far away. As the situation escalates, she must overcome her inner fears in an attempt to save Mathias.

The comedy 'Ninna' is about the title character, who lives with her son Dennis in Præstø, where she also works at the local takeaway. When Dennis announces that he wants to move away from home after his 18th birthday, Ninna's world collapses. She therefore sets out a plan to get him back home. But along the way, Ninna must also revisit her own life and settle on the past. 'Ninna' is a comedy that addresses serious topics and treats them in a humorous light.

But in spite of his death Thorvald can still follow those left behind. From a distance, and for better or worse, he sees with his own eyes the imprint he has left on his family and especially his son Vincent, who had a strained relationship with his father.
