Over a hundred members of the chorus girls and dance groups from the Spanish "Sección Femenina" embark to America to show the richness of their national folklore. The girls have left parked their daily tasks to enjoy this great adventure aboard "Mount Albertia". During the trip, the relationship between the girls and the crew is very lively and in all scenarios where they perform, success always accompanies them.

Soledad enters a women reformatory led by modest nuns who look constantly for the welfare of their girls. These include the Sister Consolación, a humorous and cheerful nun who uses a little disconcerting methods to teach but very useful for the girls, to try to forget their past and prepare for a better future. Soledad takes confidence quickly and said she hopes a son of Fernando, a womanizing Andalusian young gentleman very attractive, which coincidentally, the Sister knows.

A small Spanish town, Villar del Río, is alerted to the upcoming visit of American diplomats and its ruling townsmen begin preparations to impress the American visitors, in the hopes of benefiting under the Marshall Plan. Hoping to demonstrate the side of Spanish culture with which the visiting foreign officials would be more familiarized, the Castilian citizens don unfamiliar Andalusian costumes, hire a renowned flamenco performer, and re-decorate their town in Andalusian style, meantime waiting for their uncertain arrival.

Specialized in arranging weddings, Federico arranges marriage by proxy between Ana and Juan, two friends of his who do not know each other. Juan arrives by plane to Spain after spending ten years of safari in Africa, hoping to meet his wife, who arrives the same day from Buenos Aires. At the airport, Fernando receives him and they go to the bar to wait for Ana. But everything starts badly, because during the wait Juan drinks too much and gets drunk. When Ana arrives, she is displeased to meet her husband in such condition. Then Fernando takes them to a hotel for newlyweds where they meet other happy couples and where a peculiar honeymoon begins.
