On his birthday of all days: Oskar Moedebeck, a long-serving sales manager, is demoted and put in front of a boss half his age. And this Raphael Bluhm also turns out to be the new neighbor with whom the staid Oskar had a run-in first thing in the morning. Oskar can't believe it, but Raphael is already making out with the single mother next door - Oskar's daughter!

Henry is usually hungover, even more often in a bad mood and rather an imposition as a death assistant. His caring attitude towards his clients is hidden under a very rough exterior. Rebecca, on the other hand, is good-looking, provocative, young and has a brain tumor. She is Henry's latest client and declares it his task to accompany her to a really wild party on her last night. When Henry wants to induce her death the next day, Rebecca has changed her mind. Pursued by Henry's colleague Benno and Rebecca's husband Daniel - whose existence she has stupidly not told Henry about - they embark on a crazy trip full of absurd encounters that take more out of Henry than he could have imagined.

Post Mortem is a German Crime drama which premiered on 18 January 2007 on RTL with a nine-Episode first Season. In April 2007 the series was renewed for a second season with another eight episodes, which will begin airing on 17 January 2008.
