A house in Abbaseya is divided into two parts: the first is the basement, where poor people live and dream of ascending the social ladder, while in the other part the rich residents live. Although both worlds are extremely distant, they are only bound by romance, as the film follows love affairs between contrasting characters from both worlds.

Ragab is a doctor struggling with his financial life, he meets Nabil and discovers that he is the devil himself. They have a deal to make him the best doctor ever.

The young Mounir (Mounir Mourad), a talented artist, tries to take advantage of his unique talents, but he faces many difficulties in order to find his way. These difficulties disappear when he falls in love with a famous (Shadia) singer who exchanges feelings of love, and attaches him with her to work in the club where she sings. The nightclub manager interferes to spoil this relationship because he covets marrying her, and her aunt also opposes their relationship. The events follow and the two lovers are exposed to many pressures in order to maintain their love.

A postman comes to Cairo on vacation to visit his son. He tries to marry a belly dancer, but meets a group of counterfeiters. He pursues them until the police arrest them. He discovers that his son loves the same belly dancer and works with her in the same cabaret.

Nada meets the pilot officer Adel at a party with her liberal colleague Safaa, and goes out with him in the plane he is piloting. She is absent from school, which causes her problems as the headmistress informs the mother of her daughter’s absence. Adel proposes to her, but her family refuses her marriage to the officer and forces her to get engaged to... Her cousin after insulting and beating her.

Anwar Wagdi plays vagabond musician Alfredo, who comes across an abandoned baby in the night. He tries his best to get our heroes someone to take it and raise it. When that fails, he has no choice but to raise it on his own. He names the child, Dabab, after the beautiful woman he's encountered on the street. Years pass and Dahab grows up to be the Faryuz, who is actually cute, talented and far less grating than our Ms. Temple. Many Chaplinesque hijinks ensue as Alfredo and Dahab play music on the streets, try to scam free food wherever they can and convince the owner of a successful nightclub to let Dahab perform.

A lawyer tries to realize what crime is, and whether it is inherited or as a result of upbringing and the environment, and the lawyer comes up with a criminal and decides to treat him well and prepare him with all the appropriate circumstances.
