"Cilantro y perejil" is a comedy about couples from the same family, hit by the economic crisis in Mexico. The plot turns around the eternal question of whether it is worth it to live as a couple. The conclusions are fun, unpredictable and very human. After ending a ten-year marriage, Carlos and Susana try to fall in love with other people without success. As the days go by, Carlos realizes that without Susana he is unable to do many things, including distinguishing cilantro from parsley.

Adapted by writer/director Fernando Sariñana from the stories by Juan Madrid, Ciudades Oscuras (Dark Cities) tells a story of interwoven lives in the seedy underbelly of Mexico City. The several different story lines concern hooker Lola (Dolores Heredia); her drug addict son Fede (Diego Luna); her friend Zeze (Zaide Silvia Gutierrez); Zeze's daughter Susana (Jimena Ayala); and junkie Vicente (Roberto Sosa). Carlos has an empty belly and tries to dominate nature by obeying it. The only two pigs in his village are seductive meat. He already has the table set, without knowing that the pig affection will tell him what the pantheons are full of.

Before dying, the father recommends that the son defend himself against whoever tries to harm him, so that over time he becomes a bloodthirsty and sadistic gunman, always accompanied by the ghost of his father. His fame bears in the ears of Rutilo, the boss of the central supply, who hires him to avenge the death of his son. Honorato fulfills the mission with luxury of violence and becomes a trusted man of the gangster.

Ángeles sin paraíso is a Mexican children's telenovela produced by Pedro Damián for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from November 9, 1992, to January 29, 1993. Created by Lorena Salazar and Eduardo Quiroga, the telenovela stars Anahí and Felipe Colombo as the child protagonists and is remembered as one of Televisa's early children's telenovelas. The story follows siblings Claudia and Andrés, who are separated from their mother and forced to live under the care of their cruel aunt, Aurora Sombría. Trapped in an isolated mansion where they endure abuse and fear, the children find hope through the kindness of those around them and set out on a journey to reunite with their mother while uncovering the truth behind Aurora's crimes.

Rayito de luz is a Mexican children's telenovela produced by Rosy Ocampo for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from December 11, 2000, to January 5, 2001. It is based on the novel Marcelino pan y vino by José María Sánchez Silva. The story follows Juan de Luz, an abandoned boy who is found and raised by a group of monks in a small village. Known as "Rayito" for his cheerful spirit, he brings hope and joy to everyone around him while dreaming of one day meeting his mother.
