A prince comes to America and falls in love with a regular girl.

The police investigate a bank robbery, and when they don't seem to be making much headway, a newspaper reporter decides to investigate it on his own.

A blind orphan, Rose Duncan, who has a special talent with the violin. Jerome Trevor, a famed pianist, hears her playing and sends her to an uncle in New York so she can become educated. But the uncle is killed in an accident on his way to meet her and she is taken in by gang leader Bull Morgan. Morgan pretends to be her uncle to elude the police, and he sees the value of keeping her around as cover.

Heavyweight champion Joe Palooka (Robert Norton) and his manager/trainer Knobby Walsh (Shemp Howard), are eating a poor farmer out of house and holdings while Joe prepares for a championship bout at Madison Square Garden. The farmer sends the local sheriff to collect from Knobby.
