Ravi, a businessman, falls in love with Lalitha, a professional dancer. But her father challenges him to learn the art of dance in order to marry his daughter.

Beautiful Radha lives in a small hill-station in India. He leaves Laxmi with her maternal grand-parent, Bhagwanti and her husband, but Laxmi is abused and she runs away to Bombay, where she is befriended and looked after by a blind beggar, Anwar.

Peturam is an overweight, albeit sensitive young man, who is head over heels in love with beautiful Radha, the sister of Tej Singh, and would like to marry her.
