Ravi Teja and Meera Jasmine played the lead roles. The film was later remade into Tamil as Saravana with Silambarasan and Jyothikaand also remade into bengali as Josh with Jeet and Srabonti. Linda Arsenio danced in an item number.

2002 Telugu romance

As per a new rule, any person can join the police force. Many people including Krishnaveni, a simple girl, and Radhakrishna join. Both fall in love too. Soon it is revealed that Krishna is a naxalite.
