He makes his mind up to denounce himself by persuasion of his wife, but he and his wife get killed by other espionage agents. At the funeral of these two, Ji-sun and the village people march in resolution of succeeding her will to make more endeavors in the developmental plan of the village.

The third episode of 500 Years of Joseon Dynasty deals with the period of history spanning from the reign of King Munjong, the first son of Sejong, to the chaos of Yeonsangun's rule.

The tenth episode of 500 Years of Joseon Dynasty covers the late 18th to early 19th Centuries, from the reign of King Jeongjo to Sunjo, focusing on the Confucian scholars of the period and the first Korean Catholics.
