To solve his money problems, he then decides to be the offender of fraud rather than its victim. Getting himself involved with a pair of criminals, he begins a crooked business selling a same yellow taxi to different buyers, only to steal it back from them and sell it again. In a fascinating portrayal of human nature, Canary Yellow follows Nasrallah through the ups and downs of his double-sided experience of crime. But will it all end with the better life for his family he hopes for?

Desiderium lyrically charts the hapless loves of a three brother: Majid, they young handicapped brother with a deformed head falls in love with Aghdas, a prostitute hired by his eldest brother Habib to entertain him, not knowing the truth about her profession. Karim, the middle brother is so infatuated with a quail that he almost completely ignores his wife and her emotions. Habib himself is in love with Foroogh, a tailor lady who lives with them, while his sense of responsibility about Majid keeps him from requiting her affections.

The movie consists of three episodes that explore the lives of poor and desperate in Iran. In episode one, a very poor couple with many crippled children abandon their newly born baby in hopes that it will have a better future. In the second episode, a mentally impaired and isolated young man tries to take care of his senile mother who is almost dead. In the third episode, a cowardly and desperate peddler tries to escape from his boss.

Davood, Hossein, and Reza, are three schoolmates who have grown up together. Hossein has become an addict, Davood works as the chauffeur to a military general entangled in a political prisoner's ongoing trial, and Reza is part of a paramilitary group with the intention of punishing those who have imprisoned his comrades.

Khanom Bozorg wants to give her necklace to her grand daughter Reihan but her son and her expelled daughter Nimtaj are after it. They send two thieves to steal it from Reihan.

Sadegh and his wife manage a tea house in the way between Ahvaz and Andimeshk south of Iran. One night in his absence a friend of him who is a truck driver comes to his place and the wife is getting killed. The police are after the murderer but Sadegh who seeks revenge begins to kill the truck drivers on the way. This put him in fronting the law.

After the death of her husband, a woman lives with her son, a cockfighter. An old admirer approaches the woman, but her son is against this new marriage.

Hezar-Dastan was an Iranian epic historical drama television series from 1987, developed and directed by Ali Hatami. Hezar Dastan is considered one of the most important and most influential works of art in the history of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. The production of the show took almost 8 years, starting in 1979 and ending in 1987, during which Hatami established a large set to represent Tehran in both Qajar dynasty and World War II, retroactively creating Iran's first movie studio and backlot (named Ghazali Cinema Town). The show tells the story of Reza Khoshnevis (also known as Reza Tofangchi), and his life and entanglement with corruption in government, and trying to correct it using not conventional means. The story is split into two section and it features Iran during the turbulent times of the latter days of Qajar Dynasty and during the events of World War II and Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran.

The story takes place in the two-star Morvarid Hotel and depicts the adventures of its employees with each other and the hotel's passengers. Each part of the series has a number of guest actors who play the role of hotel guests and have adventures in the city of Tehran.
