El Paral·lel is a documentary in which musicians, artists, and industry professionals help us discover what it is like to work in musical theatre in Catalonia. From its origins to the contemporary scene, the documentary explores how a small country has built such a powerful industry. Through the documentary, we meet the artists who make each production possible, as well as exploring the challenges of producing musicals in a small market. We also reflect on the evolution of the industry, its economic and artistic changes, and its future prospects for an industry that, despite being small, is capable of creating great musical stories.

The peculiar officials who work there are in charge of writing down the dreams of all living beings since the dawn of the universe and space-time. No human has ever known of their existence... until Max accidentally lands in their offices.
