Very popular Soviet Armenian musical about a talented singer, spoiled by his success.

Hrant is tailor at the fashion house Olimpia. He's a man of great generosity and kindness but has reputation of being strange. His great love for preserving the spirit of art pushes against the wills of Yerevan's various personalities, and conflicts against the set rules of society.

Life of three friends - Aram, Ruben, and Gohar - who went from Armenia to Leningrad (St. Petersburg) to study just as World War II started. Severe life lessons change the frivolous Ruben.

Village man Hambo, trying to set up his son Gikor, gives him in service of well-to-do merchant Bazaz Artem. Gikor couldn't find neither cordiality, nor kindness in merchant's house and misses his home. Some envy small bailiff but nobody see his sufferings.

A group of children gets into a dangerous adventure while trying to help the adults to supply water for the village. At any rate, they are courageous and won't give up.

Drunkard Garsevan is supposed to bring wine for testing to specialist Poghosyan. On the road he drinks the wine and is picked up by two young men who think that he is a victim of road accident.

The plot is based on the struggle of red partisan-fishermen for the establishment of Soviet order in Armenia.

Bolshevik Tsolak Darbinyan is infiltrated into Dashnak Army as a musician of Army music band. Despite the initial personal conflict with band leader Arsen, he is able to win the friendship of young band musicians including Arsen and to persuade them to back him on the eve of the Bolshevik invasion to Armenia.
