Funky R&B group Average White Band performs at the 1977 Montreux Jazz Festival in this concert video. The Scottish group headlines the evening in a standout performance (at the height of their career) that features their hits "Pick Up the Pieces," "Work to Do," "A Love of Your Own" and "Cut the Cake." One of the band's original producers, Arif Mardin, mixed the original multi-track tapes from the show to achieve PCM Stereo and surround sound.

When Suzy arrives in London to visit an old school friend, she is unwittingly plunged into the ruthless world of the 'groupie'. Fuelled by sex, drugs and jealousy, her new lifestyle fosters in her a cold, cynical instinct for survival. But tragedy is never far away.

Maria, a juvenile delinquent is stuck in a boring girls school for young offenders in Sunderland. A suggestive wink and a flash of her knickers at an elderly gardener is enough to convince the old sod to help Maria escape from the school.
