Talented as a child but completely lost in her thirties, Vasya suddenly realizes she's heading for rock bottom and has no strength to escape. Malvina, an imaginary friend from childhood, comes to his aid, a freakish woman with purple hair and a quirky sense of humor. Malvina pushes Vasya to find her childhood love, Stasik. Vasya will go through a long journey and understand what went wrong in her life, but most importantly, she will learn why Malvina appeared.

Eleven comedic vignettes featuring conversations – some important, some less so – held in restaurants over coffee and cigarettes (how quickly time flies – cigarettes are banned in Russia’s restaurants now). The conversations are candid, and even veer into the territory of murder. In the final credits, the director apologizes to Jim Jarmusch, whose work (in the anthology Coffee and Cigarettes, which Jarmusch shot in pieces over many years) Oldenburg-Svintsov is clearly indebted to. Sex, Coffee, Cigarettes’s kinship with Jarmusch’s film extends to the fact that superstars play tiny roles in almost all of the vignettes.

Masha Smirnova is a young girl who came to Moscow to conquer the big city. Here she finds a way to make all here wishes come true. But for other people this way is not so pleasant, sometimes even painful.

Four guys from the outskirts of Moscow decide to make easy money - to overtake a car with stolen cargo inside. Aleksey Syrnikov, meanwhile, is being transferred to the Ryazan Airborne School, which he dreamed about while still being a Suvorovite.

The action takes place in Moscow in June 2013 on the eve of major geopolitical events and upheavals that, as a result, will change the future life of the world.

This evil destroys people with impunity, and each of the characters is forced to face it personally, look inside themselves to meet their own demons and fears.

Having looked death in the eye, Zhenya decides to dedicate his new film to the study of the supernatural and the paranormal. He gathers a group consisting of his ex-girlfriend, screenwriter Dasha, and cameraman Egor. It's a pity the documentarian doesn't know what he's gotten everyone into.
