A housewife, suspecting her husband of having an affair with a younger woman, enlists the help of a make-up artist to become more attractive to him.

In the pre-Civil War South, a sadistic plantation owner brutalizes his slaves to the point of rebellion. Always obedient, peaceful and honest old slave Tom plays a central role in this tragedy.

Most of the footage is devoted to the annual Passion Play at Lawton, Oklahoma, enacted by volunteers from several nearby communities. This portion of The Lawton Story was directed by Harold Daniels and narrated by radio announcer Knox Manning. To bring the film up to feature length, a fictional plotline concerning the preparations for the pageant was hastily assembled, featuring such familiar Hollywood character players as Forrest Taylor, Willa Pearl Curtis and Maude Eburne.

A once-famous concert pianist has had her career ruined by her alcoholism. Her husband and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous try to help her recover.

A teenage girl from a traditional family goes on a date with a pilot and ends up having sex with him. After the pilot dies in a plane crash, the girl discovers she is pregnant with his child.

In 1955, Kroger Babb illegally acquired and distributed Ingmar Bergman's Summer with Monika (1953) in the U.S., making some major changes to apply it to the exploitation market. He renamed the film to Monika, the Story of a Bad Girl!, cut it down to 64 minutes, dubbed it over with English voices, and added a melodramatic score by Les Baxter. One scene can be found that was censored from the original cut of Bergman's film.
