Bela plays the piano, writes songs and trains in taekwondo. She lives with her father, who is a music producer. Her mother left for USA in the hope of an acting career. At the beginning of her first year of high school, Bela learns that her mother wants to come back into her life. In search of meaning and self-expression, Bela forms a band that represents freedom and a confession of her worldview.

Four very different people live in the same building but avoid each other because of differences in how they live their lives, what they believe in, and where they come from. They would probably never exchange a word, but misfortune pushes them towards each other. Their lives entangle in ways that profoundly challenge deep-held beliefs and prejudices surrounding material status, sexual orientation, nationality and religion. Slowly, and even painfully, they begin to open up to each other and recognize the essential humanity each of them possesses.

To celebrate 40 years of his career, Slovenian rock star Peter Lovšin presented this documentary. He started in 1977, when he formed Pankrti, one of the greatest Slovenian punk groups, and in 1992 he started a solo career. His contribution to the Slovenian music scene is unparalelled.

The film documents the history of the Slovenian rap music and its relationship to poetry, literature and politics of the present.

Based on motifs from The Triple Life of Antigone by Slavoj Žižek, this film reflects on today’s planet and political “chaos” by placing the politicians, the decision-makers and the influencers of today in the roles of Žižek’s version of the ancient Greek drama Antigone. But what are the politicians roles? Does the Antigone of today represent populists, anti-migrants and fundamentalists, or those who would oppose them?
