Kristel Elling was born in Tartu, Estonia. She is the daughter of an opera singer Kai Elling. She is trained at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (BFA. in Acting) and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (MFA. in Acting) in London, England. Kristel Elling is known for "Shop of Dreams" (2005), "Drunk on Love" (2015) and "How Not to Propose" (2015).
