The story of the villagers of Çaykaşılı in Kastamonu, caught between their traditional way of life and industrialization. Aşur, who migrated from Kastamonu to Istanbul, is a man who makes a living by chasing small jobs in the construction sector and committing fraud. He abandons the renovations he takes on without completing them, taking the payments and disappearing. As a result, he finds himself in trouble with customers who have lost their money and workers who have not been paid.

Mustafaali, as a person who left the modern life behind him and lives in Cokertme Village, spends his days by reading books. Mustafaali, a person who is against working, satisfies all his vital needs from the blessing of nature. Cavit, on the other hand, is a rich businessman who lives in Istanbul. He has worked in his entire life and all he matters is to work, to earn and to make savings. Cavit's life becomes upside down after he met Mustafaali when he wants to buy Mustafaali's land to build a boutique hotel in Cokertme Bay. Living far from the modern life in his small land under the natural circumstances, Mustafaali's philosophy confuses Cavit who is a person from a big city.

Ferit who works as a reporter on a newspaper, makes fake news about the olive oil king Hulusi. One day he writes that he adds machine oils to his oils, another day he writes that his daughter Alev hangs up with men and prints her photos. Actually the married man seen in the photos is Alev's cousin.
