In the province of Neuquén, in Argentine Patagonia, workers at the Zanon ceramics factory opposed their employer's layoff plan, which included laying off more than half of their workforce to avoid permanent closure due to the crisis. In October 2001, the workers took over the factory and have since continued production without a boss. They thus demonstrated that it is possible, in times of crisis, to offer work to others and contribute to the continued solidarity of society when the State fails to provide solutions.

Though life in Rio was full of romance and adventure for Manuel, the controversy surrounding him grew ever more intense, until the only way out was a trip back to his native Argentina. In the years that followed, Puig eventually made the painful decision to move to Mexico, where he spent his final days until death caught up with him at the age of fifty-eight.

Journey to Mars (Viaje a Marte) is an animated stop motion short film. This independent production, which was made in Argentina, is the result of two years hard work. Since then, it has won 50 awards in different festivals around the world, competing in many cases against real action productions. The short tells the story of Antonio, a boy from the 60s, who is a great fan of science fiction tv serials and space trips. In view of the child's passion, his grandfather decides to take him to Mars in his tow truck.
