It's Men's Day, Men's Day, Father's Day, Ascension Day - many terms, one date, but always a reason to celebrate. Having just finished school, five Bavarian friends start a common tradition: Every year they want to get together on Men's Day and douse their friendship properly. But every good resolution eventually dies, and so after 20 years most of them lost contact.

The Misplaced World

By chance Paul Kromberger discovers on the internet a photograph of the US opera diva Caterina Fabiani who is the spitting image of Evelyn, his dead wife. His unease and growing sense of alarm are transferred to his daughter, Sophie. Filled with curiosity, she leaves Germany and journeys across the Atlantic to make contact with this stranger.

Late summer in Berlin. The city is pulsating and friends Fabian, Bene, and Richard are wandering aimlessly through the big urban jungle. Against Fabian's quiet protest, the friends ridicule outsider Jakob. Fabian can no longer repress his attachment to Jakob and confronts his friends - perhaps too late.
