Unlike in traditional *lenong* tales, Si Pitung does not die; he is like a cowboy who resolves a problem and then moves on. Si Pitung (Dicky Zulkarnaen), a student of H. Naipin (M. Panji Anom), gains the strength to fight against the oppression inflicted upon the common people by landlords. With the help of his friend Djiih (Sandy Suwardy), he thrashes the landlords' hired thugs as well as the colonial police officers. Meanwhile, the colonial police commander (A. Hamid Arief) devises a plan to thwart Pitung. Pitung’s girlfriend, Aisyah (Paula Rumokoy), is taken to become the third wife of Demang Meester (H. Mansjur Sjah). Just as the wedding celebration is about to take place, Pitung succeeds in rescuing his beloved, declaring that he will go to wherever people are in need.

The relationship between Euis and Benny deteriorates further when Erni comes with her group. The misunderstanding is overcome when she realises that Erni comes to join the harvesting party in the village and to entertain them with her singing.

The jokes from Benjamin S and Nawi Ismail parodies Jango, a “spaghetti” cowboy movie character who was quite popular in Indonesia. Three cowboys, Benny, Man, and Gommy arrive in Bero City that needs a new sheriff. They are expected to arrest the gang of Don Lego. But even after Don Lego is defeated, not even one cowboy is willing to be a sheriff. They all have different silly excuses such as “being asked to go home to his wife”. Meanwhile, Benny, also refuses the offer. The reason is that he is going to make his haj.

Jaim (Benyamin S) and Rais (Mansjur Sjah) were neighbors and worked in a sawmill. However, these two men always quarreled and fought. His son and wife also joined in. Because of their quarrels, Jaim and Rais were expelled from their jobs. Jaim became a duck salad vendor, while Rais' wife became a herbalist. The constant bickering of these two poor families (the role of the creditors in Jaim's family life is also depicted) culminates in their house catching fire. And Mr. RT (A. Hamid Arief), who happens to be the committee for the departure of transmigrants to Lampung, sends them to the transmigration area.

An evil wizard unleashes a legion of worms on an innocent village. These worms can burrow into the skin and take control of the person. Later in the film, the infected people become sex-crazed zombies and then an army to help protect the evil magician from a good wizard.

The story revolves around a pickpocket and the organization led by Beniman. There are certain taboos, such as not pickpocketing transvestites and pregnant women. Many of their operations fail, either due to incompetence or because they break these taboos. Beniman himself starts dating Ida, whom he met after she was pickpocketed by one of his men. The stolen wallet is returned to her. The repeated failures prompt Beniman to hold a congress of pickpockets, where they decide to rob a bank. However, a police intelligence officer infiltrates the gang and provides them with guns without bullets, causing the operation to fail. Beniman is arrested, and the officer interrogating him is Hamid, Ida's father.

The wedding plans of Oma and Ani are shattered due to the presence of Ir. Dana in the plantation where Ani’s father works. As her father is ambitious and wants a higher position, he wants Dana to become Ani’s husband. Ani works in the plantation as a secretary and Dana is interested in her but she does not reciprocate. Ami and Oma are having a long-distance relationship and things start to change when Oma does not come on her birthday. So she goes to Jakarta and finds Oma in the middle of persuading his singing partner, Shanty, who is sulking, to finish a recording. Suspicious and jealous, Ani goes straight home and decides to marry Dana. Oma is shocked to receive the invitation. He goes home and the root of the problem is uncovered.

When Grace’s father is ill, she rushes home and Ben tries to go after her even though he doesn’t know her address. He only knows the address of his friend, Bagio, located behind a tall building that is actually the office of Grace’s father. Finally, Ben becomes a famous singer but Grace’s father still disapproves. Grace is instead matched with Mansjur, who turns out to be a playboy. Thereafter, Grace’s father permits Ben to see her again.

Benyamin, a laundryman and lenong player, is a neighbor of Mimin, a widow who lives with her sister Aida. The noisy lenong practice activities often cause the two neighbors to quarrel, although they later make peace. Meanwhile, Benyamin falls in love with Ellya, an old spinster, the daughter of Mr. Hamid, the owner of the rented house where Benyamin lives. This relationship is not approved by Mr. Hamid who considers lenong players to be lowly in dignity. When Mr. Hamid begins to have a crush on Mimin, Benyamin uses this as a weapon to soften Mr. Hamid's heart.

There is a street food stall in a village where unemployed men hang around, singing and gambling. Ani’s parents and Heri’s father, a judge, are angered by the gambling. But Rhoma, son of a poor widow, often sings his self-composed songs there, as he is still unemployed. A friend suggests that he should go to a recording company. He succeeds and his songs are hits. Then Heri falls in love with Ani, Rhoma’s girlfriend. So he conspires with the friends that he often gambles with at the eatery, and when Rhoma tries to help a hostess who has been killed, he is instead accused as the murderer and jailed. In the end, the true murderer is discovered, and Rhoma and Ani can be together again.

Pengki is a mischievous prankster who constantly causes trouble for his employer, Johan, his wife, and his parent-in-law. Cunningly, he sells the car's gasoline, pretends to be the master of the house using Johan's car, and flirts with pretty girls. Drawing from the novel, lenong (play) and the previous film (Njai Dasima I), this new film version has heightened erotic scenes considered the boldest for its time. But as mentioned by the director, the eroticism is meant to reveal the psychological aspects of the characters. Unlike the previous version, that mainly highlights conflict between love and witchcraft, this one features social and psychological conflicts. For example, how Dasima feels like an outsider with Edward Williams’s friends, or how she prefers leaving their house to live with her maid in the village. It also shows more background of the Samiun and Hayati characters - Samiun is a black market trader with a lot of debts and Hayati is a woman obsessed with gambling to get rich. When his debts are due and he is unable to pay, Samiun asks his friend, Puasa, to “rob” him while he is returning to their village with Dasima.
