A romantic drama set in Denmark in 1913, the story follows Anton, a noble and conscientious young man whose top priority is to complete his training as a cavalry officer. During a training session, he orders his platoon to help Baron von Løvenskjold and finds himself invited to a ball at the castle, where he meets the baron’s beautiful daughter Edith who has been in an accident and ended up in a wheelchair.

Danish brilliant pre-teen student Nis uses his summer holiday to learn Latin so he can properly study the Knights Templar inheritance on Bjornholm island from sources. His friends Mathias, a dumb jock, and Kathrine, who only comes to spend time wear her dad, who really wanted a boy, prefer childish fun, but get dragged in his quest for a treasure. Mats's strength, Kathrine's connections and even Nis's bratty kid sister's blunt remarks contribute to find out about two brotherhoods, heirs of 12th century factions in the Templar order and deal with danger.

Over the course of a week, sisters Inger and Ellen find their relationship challenged on a highly anticipated coach trip to Paris. At Santa Claus School, the principal has called a meeting. Lucia, her parents Julius and Claudia and everyone else at school are excited. But the tension is replaced by a shock when the headmaster cancels Christmas. He seems confused, and it soon becomes clear that he is trapped in a Christmas trauma from his younger days as Santa Claus. Lucia sets out to find out what has happened and with the help of the younger student Elias and a magical time machine, she travels back in time in the hope of saving Christmas.

And, as their uncle is nice enough to help them, they also decide to try and get him a wife.

On the ferry, Amalie meets ski instructor Dan, and Uncle Erik gets very seasick. It turns out that Dad has rented a very small, leaky cabin, but Jan and Michael sort it out so they can move into a large suite. It turns out that it has been rented to Mrs. Flinth and her friends, and she causes a lot of trouble. The family is thrown out, but once again Jan and Michael fix the situation. They claim that Erik Lund is a famous singer. Erik is busy looking after Amalie, but when she discovers Dan's flirting with another girl, she gets the boys to help her. Meanwhile, Erik also finds time to go ice skating with Mrs. Flint.

Wiinie and Karina are to be released on parole from Vestre Prison, and the prison warden is relieved to be rid of them. The Christian TV channel HKK is short of money, and the chairman of the board gladly accepts a compensation check from the government to resocialize the two girls. Winnie and Karina have convinced themselves that they will each receive a million kroner for working at the channel. And then the complications and chaos begin!

Live from Bremen has been described as the successor to Casper and the Mandril Agreement, as the show has the Mandril Agreement's Lasse Rimmer and Lars Hjortshøj as permanent fixtures, as well as Casper Christensen as lead author and man of ideas. The show is broadcast live from Bremen, the former Private Theater in Copenhagen, and is followed by Casper Christensen's talk show ALOHA! sent from the same place. Live from Bremen is inspired by the American sketch and satire show Saturday Night Live.

It's a roller coaste coming-of-age story. Focus is on the three kids thrown into extraordinary circumstances, which brings out best and worst in their relationship to themselves, each other, death and having to be/become an adult. Mum's corpse only appears briefly in the first episode, and the morbid aspects of the story are undertoned in relationship to the subtle humor.
