Lada Kaštelan

Based on the motifs of Slavko Batušić’s play Chamber Trio, the main characters are sisters Julia and Regina, and Regina’s husband Marcel, in the vortex of an intimate and psychological drama of unresolved marital relations.

In the midst of the rising political tensions of the former Yugoslavia, a young man stumbles across evidence that might prove that his grandfather, who had been labled as an enemy of the state and sentenced to a prison camp, was actually been innocent all along.

Through a period of five days, the story follows intertwined characters who live in false serenity and rather chaotic general order.

A group of trainee therapists come together for their regular group psychotherapy session, but when their normal routine is disrupted, events take an unexpected direction: as their professional masks start to slip, long repressed personal tensions soon bubble to the surface.
