After Annunziata opens up a hostel with her friend Antonio, she is saved from being raped by a Camorra boss as the gangster is suddenly killed. The killer escapes before Annunziata is able to see who it was. Following this murder are several others, and always with the same “signature” — a syringe in one of the testicles of the victims. As the gangsters continue to be killed off, the identity of the killer – or killers – slowly becomes obvious.

Rapidly alternating fragments of women's portraits, planes, trains, revue dancers, animals, a motorcyclist with 'Ferdi' written on the back of his jacket and in between the artist himself and abstract images; scratches and wild drawings, among others. Colourful abstract and expressive images and texts, painted directly on the celluloid, are interspersed with images from the maker's other films; THE VIPERS and FERDI.

MovieDocumentary
Short film about the experience of taking psychoactive drugs. ‘I wanted to make a short documentary-style film about marijuana and hashish, psychoactive drugs that in 1955 were still relatively unknown to the general public. They were mainly used by a small group of artists, jazz musicians, intellectuals, and North Africans. I wanted to visualize the ritual of rolling and lighting up a joint, and then put a series of seemingly unrelated images next to each other to represent the feeling of being high. When the movie was finished, we took it to the festival for 16mm films at Cannes, and won the Golden Lion for ‘Best Use of Film Language’. (Shinkichi Tajiri, Tajiri, 1993)
