The acclaimed film director Esteban Martínez is a legend both for his films and for his past marked by violence and excess. Actor Juan Debré has spent a lifetime playing the hero in a TV series while remaining detached from his own identity. When diagnosed with a terminal illness, he embarks on a surreal journey to Belgium, birthplace of his childhood comic book idol, in search of meaning and perhaps redemption.

It’s the first day of shooting a low-budget independent film. Juan, the director, tries to shoot a sex scene with Malena and Julián, two inexperienced young actors. But he also secretly keeps the camera running in between takes, in an attempt to capture brief moments of intimacy. Hours go by and the scene doesn’t seem to come out right. Weariness, repetition, and communication problems pile up as Juan tries to convince the actress to show more of her body. Violence will emerge as the shooting crumbles.

Three teenage boys love soccer, are troublemakers, and always lie to their teachers and miss class. They are always up to no good. And they aren't alone. Their families are surrounded by restlessness. It almost seems like a so-so movie about teens from Argentina. But when one of the boys steals a gun from another boy's house, things start to take a different turn. There is an accident, and the boy disappears. Where did he go? Sometime later, the two boys and the missing boy's sister head off to an unknown location. With the accident as the starting point, the film turns into a little odyssey within the heart of Buenos Aires.

Rodrigo lives in Córdoba. He runs and manages his dad's cabins for tourists. Summer is around the corner. One day he meets seventeen year old Juan, who has just arrived into town all the way from Buenos Aires.
