The staff of a company organize the meeting regarding 500 bathtubs which someone mysteriously left in the timber yard. Although it's obviously someone's machination behind this, the meeting turns into a feast with music, rather than a night of boring polemics.

"Maiden Bridge" is a place of exchange of German prisoners and partisans captured by the Germans. Unit with nine captured Germans is marching towards the bridge. there is double trouble for partisans, since they are surrounded by the hostiles and also going directly into the hands of ruthless enemy leaders.

The movie is based on the true story about a group of children, barely teenagers, who joined Yugoslav Partizans after losing their families in WW2. At first, Partizans want to get rid of them, but later they are joining combat ranks. Among them, Bosko Buha would become a legend because of his skill in destroying enemy bunkers.

As children, Leni and Lazar were best friends. When Lazar returns from extensive travels abroad for his father's funeral, Leni yearns to reconnect with her childhood soulmate but still feels the sting of their years of estrangement.

Their decision to follow their own ideals brings them in disrepute with those closest to them. Their support of one another finally brings them to realise a friendship based on loyalty and belonging.

A Partisan unit goes into battle with the enemy twice stronger, somehow resists detachment to attack deep into the night, where the fraud are captured combatants from all units and thrown to the terrible torture and eventually murder.

The story of the film follows Lazar, who, after a number of years spent as a traveling street artist, playing motionless sculpture, found himself on a small Mediterranean island. He longs to return home, but his departure from the island is complicated by the island bureacracy.

He climbs onto the train and goes to see his mother, who has just returned from internment. When he returned to the brigade, Mitko was declared a deserter and was disarmed and bound. Since he lost his weapon, the Commissioner sent him to patrol the action to take weapons from the Germans. All partisans patrol that went with him dying and the only Mitko and Vane, who was seriously injured remain alive. Thinking it was dead Vane, Angelov returns to the brigade. But the commander did not believe him, thinking that he had fled from the battle, and that is why the prison in the basement. In the meantime, get wounded fighter Vane, and the story of the heroic struggle led by Mitko. But at the same time, a military court condemned him to death for desertion.

Idea of series derives from exploits of freedom fighters in Belgrade during World War II, and all the characters and events are fictitious.
