The Daughters of Fire

Three women meet by chance at the end of the world, in Argentinian Patagonia, and set out on a polyamorous journey, caught up in the search for new kinds of relationships, far from possession and pain. They become the Daughters of Fire, a band dedicated to helping those women who look for their own path to erotica.

Smokers Only

A suicidal young singer named Reni is about to get kicked out of her band when she meets a male gigolo, Andres, at an ATM after he picks her pocket. They begin an affair, and she decides to become a hooker so she can spend more time with her newfound love.

The pandemic, images from the past, images in the trash, various animals, a wounded lion boy, musical neighbors singing an old bolero, a medicinal herb vendor making cooking videos. An experimental piece in collaboration with I Acevedo, Paula Trama, and Inés Copertino, commissioned by the Buenos Aires Queer Art Festival.

A Family Submerged

Marcela’s world becomes strange and unfamiliar after her sister Rina dies. She feels lost in her own house, and her relationship with her husband and children seems to suffer. But when Nacho, a young friend of her daughter’s, unexpectedly drops by, she starts to talk and walk with him. Gradually Marcela begins to have conversations with relatives from another dimension.

It’s Never Been So Cold

A mother and a daughter in a bond beyond time, waiting to move forward among absurd dialogue, injections, plants and e-mails.

Atardecer

Tamara’s husband died recently and this is her first holiday without him. She meets other older ladies at the resort. They discuss matters during a walk in the woods. They effortlessly switch between light-hearted subjects and the important things in life.
