On the evening of May 9, 1945, when Moscow is noisily and cheerfully celebrating the Victory Day, a young girl agronomist Zina Sokolova and a sailor officer Lavrentyev meet in the compartment of the Moscow-Vladivostok train. The sailor takes the lively, direct character of the girl for windiness and frivolity. Sokolova also reacted frowningly and mockingly to the satellite. To get to know each other better, travelers are helped by nuisance: they are behind the train, and the rest of the way they are together, getting to know people and the life of the country along the way.

In 1933 Berlin, Bulgarian communist Georgi Dimitrov is caught up in the Reichstag fire trials when Nazis seek to frame communists. Despite orchestrated provocations and mass repression, Dimitrov’s defiant courtroom defense exposes the baseless charges, forcing his acquittal and securing him political asylum in the Soviet Union.

Rookie Vladimir Danilin gets to the foreman of communication Kachure and is appointed to riding ones. Having no experience with horses, Danilin often finds himself in comic situations.

In one of the small towns of West Germany there is a camp for displaced persons, where hundreds of Soviet people languish. An underground group, led by Sevastopol sailor Andrei Makarov, operates in the camp. The Americans manage to intercept the first list of people who want to return to the Soviet Union. Major Peterson, with the help of Belin and Tsupovych, tries to recruit Soviet people to work in Brazil. But a second list for repatriation has already been drawn up. Peterson arrests Andrei Makarov. The Americans accuse him of the murder of Anna Robchuk, who actually died at the hands of Belin. The underground, with the help of German anti-fascists, manages to get the list to the Soviet mission. Soon a ship with Soviet people who have returned to their native land approaches the pier of the Odesa port.

Once upon a time there was a king who loved to dress up so much that he spent all his money on new dresses. If they said about some kings: “The king is in council,” then they said about this: “The king is in the dressing room.” There were two rules in his kingdom: the first was to love the king, the second rule was to praise his outfits. But two cheerful wanderers decided to teach the king a lesson for his stupidity; they introduced themselves as overseas tailors, promising to sew him a dress that everyone could see, except for... fools.
