The year is 1927 and the Alliance moves triumphantly from victory to victory in an epic and bloody civil war campaign against the uprisings of brutal warlords and feudal barons that has left the country on the brink of total collapse. At the Sino-Vietnamese border, a group of nine people headed by a deputy company commander and a platoon commander braved the enemy's intensive artillery fire to the No. 3 post, a natural cave, and began three months of hard fighting.

Set in the 30's Shandong Province, China, this film shows story of a young couple. The husband devotes himself to the revolution, and the wife takes care of the whole family and goes through a lot of difficulties.

Railways has become the most important means of transport. The U.S. Army, unwilling to accept defeat on the battlefield, mobilized a large number of aircraft to bomb indiscriminately along railways, and carried out the so-called "war of attrition". Following the order of Commander Peng Dehuai, Liang Junying, the commander of the Sino-DPRK Joint Railway Transport Command, led the volunteer warriors on the transport front to carry forward the fearless revolutionary spirit, building bridges, repairing railways, and transporting supplies in the "317" section, which was dotted with bombs and mines. This is the real "indestructible and bombable steel transport line".
