Tarntara Rongrung

Set in late 1800s Thailand during King Chulalongkorn’s reign, Kaew, a hereditary slave, battles against his master’s refusal to release him even as new laws promise freedom. His struggle for liberty is fueled by his forbidden love for Namtip, his master’s daughter.

In the kingdom of Kaew Kao, two jealous consorts give birth at the same time - one to a prince, the other to a cursed doll-child. Manipulated by schemes and false prophecies, the rightful mother and child are condemned to exile, setting off chaos in the realm.
