The story is about Nirmala Mathan who seeks vengeance on the person who she feels is responsible for the mysterious death of her lover, Shiva. When Shiva dies in mysterious circumstances, Nirmala assumes that Dr. Roy, who wanted to marry her, is behind it.

After the death of their respective parents, Jeeva grows up with the kids of his father's employer. Years later, when their youngest, widowed sister wants to get re-married, her only support is Jeeva.

Badri (Vijay) is a troublemaker and a source of heartburn for his father (Kitty). So the father pins his hopes on his elder son, Vetri (Riyaz Khan), to win the kickboxing championship. But he soon realises his mistakes and when his brother becomes bedridden, he decides to redeem himself in his father's eyes by fighting in the championship match. He finally redeems himself by defeating his opponent and at the same time, accepts Janu's love.

Pop singer Inderjeet is the main suspect after his female fans are killed by a serial killer. Divya, whose sister was a dancer in his troupe and the first target, comes to the city to find the killer.

A modern man, Vijay, marries his father's sincere secretary who hails from a poor family. But their stringent prenuptial agreement grants him the power to end his marriage after 12 months.

Maya elopes with Balakrishnan only to abandon him the next day. Balakrishnan then feigns a happy marriage for which he hires a girl, Mayamohini who later turns out to be a man hunted by the cops.
