In the past. There was a Palmerah hero named Rombeng (Sukarno M. Noor) who was cruel and ruthless. The victims were the common people and beautiful girls. There was also a story about a young man with long hair, so his name was only known as Si Gondrong (Farouk Afero), who was also good at martial arts. He was a Kwitang hero. His acquaintance with Patmah (Mila Karmila), a sweet girl who was good at reciting the Koran, made him easily attracted, especially since he had just been betrayed by his girlfriend Mimin (Rahayu Effendi), a naughty woman. Mimin turned to hate and incited Rombeng to kidnap Patmah. So fight after fight took place, with Si Gondrong winning in the end. Rombeng lost because he was hit by the stagen williat.

The colonial court sentenced Tohir harshly on 22 September 1938. The sentence is made harsher because the prosecutor, Hasan, discriminates more on Tohir’s lineage than his crime. He is loved by an innocent girl in the village, but in other places, he plays around with women. In his old age, Tohir becomes a drunk and then he finds out that the government has awarded Hasan for his services. He uses Husin, nicknamed Boy, to avenge himself by sending him to rob Hasan’s house. Husin fails and is sent to trial. There, while drunk, Tohir reveals who Husin really is. Hasan and his wife then welcome Husin back.

This is the story of one of the heroes of independence from South Sulawesi - Wolter Monginsidi. Monginsidi is portrayed as a flamboyant young man, brave and daring yet emotional at times. He and his troops always ambush the Dutch until they are finally caught. His father is persuaded to sign the clemency form, which turns out to be a trap, set up by the Dutch. He receives the death sentence instead.

The evil Sahlan is on the lam after committing a bloody robbery. He decides to both terrorize his actress wife and blackmail a film producer she's working for.

Supinah, a prostitute, is picked up by a kindly rich man, Budi. They fall in love and she recounts how she, as a naive willage woman, was lured into prostitution when she came to Jakarta in search of her husband, who in turns out remarried. Budi wants her to quit her job but her vicious pimp has other ideas.

Karsono, a foreign spy, sends Dachlan to Hong Kong for a secret mission, so that he can rape Dachlan's wife, who later dies. Dachlan himself is killed in Hong Kong. Then there is Muchtar, who escapes from Hong Kong to return to Indonesia, hoping to have his sick wife cured. But he finds out that his wife has been murdered so he works with the police to solve this. One of Karsono's men who defects, reveals his secrets but before he can be captured, Karsono is murdered by his men.

Set in the era of Dutch colonialism, Landlord Kedawung is devastated by his first wife’s death. But apparently, her death is something that the second wife, Zubaedah, has been waiting for.

Adapted from Achdiat Kartamihardja's novel of the same name. It follows a young Muslim man named Hasan who, through his interactions with others, loses his faith.

An athlete juggles her career and love life while an internal conflict within the sports organization gets in the way.

A little boy is told the tale about the development of Jakarta, when a village was divided into two, and causing the people to oppose each other. On one side, there is Anton while the other side is lead by Mahmud. Maulana, the village boy whom Anton has adopted, falls in love with Laila, the sister of Mahmud. This love affair irritates Majid, Mahmud’s right-hand man, because he has loves Laila, long before her meeting with Maulana. Maulana and Laila refuse to take sides between the two opposing sides, and try to reconcile them. But a battle is inevitable. In the end, Mahmud kills Anton; but Mahmud dies at the hand of Maulana, his future brother-in-law. Then Maulana runs to Laila’s house and confesses. Laila forgives him, but Majid cannot. He orders a boy to steal the gun of Sabeni, an informant, and he shoots Maulana with it. While the intention was to make this film a musical, it didn’t work as the “realistic world” and the “musical world” could not blend fully.

Attraction at first sight, makes Hendrawansyah (Sophan Sophian) continue to pursue Maryani (Widyawati). He did not back down even though he later found out that his girlfriend was a prostitute, even when he had to face shame in front of respectable people and his father, Datuk Sulaiman (Kusno Sudjarwadi).
