Nguyễn Khắc Lợi (August 23, 1932 – August 2, 2024) was a Vietnamese director, known for both his documentary films and his war dramas, many of which are literary adaptations. He began his career as a secondary camera operator for Roman Karmen's "Việt Nam" (1955), and belonged to the first generation of Vietnamese filmmakers who were sent to the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Soviet Russi…
