Early German Romanticism was not only an era of great poetry, but also developed a spiritual world view that anticipated much of what people today seek in esotericism, shamanism and Far Eastern religion: the combination of thought and intuition, reason and emotion, science and religion, as well as a view of nature as a living organism that cannot be understood solely through rational dissection. In artistic independence, the early Romantics developed highly individual forms of spirituality that have lost none of their fascination and inspiring power to this day. With texts by Hölderlin, Novalis, Goethe, Annette von Droste-Hülshoff and others, we travel to magical landscapes in Germany to explore this side of European intellectual history that has been little illuminated to date.

Too bad: Knight Rusty's big show fight in honor of the Knights of Scrapland completely backfires and plunges the kingdom into total chaos. The king rages and sends the knights all to the devil. While Miss Bö goes to work and the dragon Koks takes care of the household, Knight Rusty sits alone in the cellar and mopes. Professor Von Dracula, a vampire scientist, leaves Transylvania for Cuba, where he invents "Vampisol," a potion that allows vampires to survive in sunlight. When the professor announces his intention to donate the formula free-of-charge to vampires all over the world, the Vampire Mafia from Chicago and the European Group of Vampires from Düsseldorf try to muscle in and steal the formula. The action escalates crazily as an assortment of bad guys, police, vampires and other monsters, and our hero and his girlfriend are all caught up in the chase.

With Globi's help, Benji and his musical partner Lucinda set out to regain their stolen shadows. Will the three of them be able to conquer the evil Maestro and save Benji's life?

Three people from very different walks of life meet at a large construction site. Young, unmarried, self-confident construction manager Linda Hinrichs dedicates herself completely to her work and enjoys living more independently then most women. Daniel, a student works on the construction site to make money during his summer holiday, and impresses Linda with his spontaneous energy and idealism. Brigadier Böwe, an older, divorced man works his way from one construction site to the other and has lost his own personal happiness on the path to developing what was seen as officially suitable social standards. Both men try to win Linda over, not realizing that they are taking her freedom away from her.

The deputy editor-in-chief of an SPD newspaper in West Germany, Karl Waldner, recognizes the former Henlein leader Meißner, who is guilty of the murder of his father, at a meeting of Sudeten Germans. He wants to open the case and hand Meißner over to the courts. But he encounters resistance, even in the SPD, whose right-wing leaders do not want any conflict with the CDU, in which Meißner has an influential position. Waldner, who has been in the party for thirty years, has to rethink his own position. Discussions with his childhood friend Sepp Lukas and memories of their joint attempts to unite the Young Communists and Young Socialists against the Henlein Youth help him to do so. He realized where the failure of social democracy had already led back then.

Overnight, Ernst has to leave his mother Agathe and Nazi Germany for Paris because he took part in a protest. But there, all traces of him are lost. Agathe sets out on a dangerous search for her son and discovers that Ernst is fighting against the fascists in Spain. Agathe follows him to the front.

Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten is a long-running German television soap opera, first broadcast on RTL in 1992. The programme concerns the lives of a fictional neighborhood in Germany's capital city Berlin. Over the years the soap opera tends to have an overhaul of young people in their late teens and early twenties; targeting a young viewership.
