Laura is surprised one night with the news that her younger sister Katherine, who disappeared at age 7, has been found. More than 11 years have passed since the tragic event. Her parents died uncertain whether their daughter was alive or not. Now, Laura must cope alone with this reunion and with all of Katherine's scars.

On summer break, teenage Ana meets camp monitor Roberto. When he rescues her from a river, they develop a romance at the camp, but after the season, she finds herself unable to contact him and, upon crossing paths again, discovers why.
