Leon Garfield

Mr Corbett is a cruel employer to Ben Partridge. One night on New Years Eve Ben is sent out to deliver some medicine. Along the way he wishes his master was dead, little knowing that the man he is delivering to is the Collector of Souls.

When honest young Tolly is forced on the run with ‘Black Jack’, a villainous ruffian, adventure and mishap are never far away. As the two enter a world of body-snatchers, private lunatic asylums, and travelling fairs, they find friendship in the most unlikely places.

William Jones runs away from home, haunted by the memory of his father. To lay this ghost, he must search the back streets of London for a man called Diamond.

British TV-Drama

An animated adaptation of twelve of Shakespeare's best-known plays. The series was produced by S4C for the BBC, but animated by some of the foremost artists of Soyuzmultfilm, the former Soviet Union's main animation studio. Each 26-minute play is directed by a different animator, in a wide variety of styles: cel animation for Macbeth, stop-motion puppets in Twelfth Night, and paint on glass for Hamlet.

Jack Holborn was a 1982 ZDF Adventure TV mini-series. The story is based on the book by Leon Garfield. It was shown in the United Kingdom by ITV.

A precursor to the later Dramarama series, Spooky explores the supernatural, and ventures into the dark corners of the imagination.
